Senior Product Designer (UI/UX)

The Role:

We are looking for a talented and curious Senior Product Designer (UI/UX), with previous experience in designing User Interfaces for macOS, iOS and Windows. The Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) will have the creative freedom to shape the digital experience while collaborating closely with the Creative Director and UI Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Development and evaluation of user interfaces concepts in the various project phases
  • Iterative creation of usability concepts and designs in the user-centred design process
  • Presentation of UI/UX concepts and evaluation results to the team and stakeholders
  • Carry out the design concept and create production-ready graphics for UI engineers to implement
  • Continue to define a style guide and visual language to help unify the look and feel of the Affinity UI
  • Other tasks include the creation of Low- to High fidelity prototypes
  • Lead development, networking, and coordination with design- and other development project teams
  • Identify design issues that have been incorrectly implemented, create succinct bug reports, and follow up to ensure the issue is resolved in a timely manner
  • Research and Analysis of future trends in User Interface and User Experience designs
  • Additional tasks as determined by management
  • Keep up with the design trends in and outside of the creative industry
  • Take pride introducing high-quality work, including fresh, clean design and staying well-organized
  • Learn new skills beyond UI/UX design and experiment and learn new software tools for delivering your design contributions
  • Interact professionally with engineers and stakeholders

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in UI/UX
  • Availability to travel (potentially overseas) at least 4 times a year
  • Knowledge of Conceptualizing in Figma
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge and Experience of UI/UX to ensure the application is Pro user-focused, aesthetically pleasing and improves user satisfaction
  • Experience in designing User Interfaces for macOS, iOS and Windows
  • A proven track record of creating pitches and presenting designs and concepts to stakeholders within the organisation
  • Knowledge and experience evaluating user interfaces
  • Knowledge of researching future trends

£60,000 - £75,000
